The story behind Fixels
Fixels started with me, Connor. I am not from Chandler's Ford originally, but after moving here I got involved with Chandlers Ford FC and soon saw what a great little community it is, and a genuinely good place to live. I wanted to build something for the local businesses around me.
A lot has changed in how websites get made. Since 2020, working fully remote has become completely normal, and capable AI tools now handle much of the heavy lifting. There is no city centre office to pay for and no big team to carry, and that overhead was always a large part of the agency price tag. Take it away and you can build a genuinely great website for a fraction of the cost, with a turnaround measured in weeks rather than months.
I had spent years building web tools before Fixels, so this way of working comes naturally to me. Every site is custom built to fit the business, quick to launch and properly made to last. Our first Fixels site went live at the end of 2025, and we have been building for Hampshire businesses ever since.
