How we got a recruitment start-up posting jobs in one click

Scinergy Recruitment was running their jobs through a basic free widget on a DIY Wix site. We built them a sharper site with its own job board and wired it into LogicMelon, so one job now lands on their website, Indeed, LinkedIn and the other boards at once.

The Scinergy Recruitment website built by Fixels

Scinergy Recruitment is a new agency in Bishop's Waltham, placing people across the energy sector. Like a lot of start-ups, they began with a website they had built themselves on Wix. It did the job, but it didn't quite look the part for a professional recruitment brand, and the way it handled their jobs was holding them back.

A DIY site that had done its job

The Wix site was a sensible place to start. It got them online quickly while they found their feet. But as they began winning work, it started to hold them back. A new recruitment agency is judged on how credible it looks, and a template site that looks like every other one doesn't make the right first impression when you are competing for the best clients and candidates.

Jobs stuck behind a free widget

To list their vacancies, the old site relied on a free job board widget, the kind you bolt onto a Wix site in a few clicks. It got the jobs onto the page, but it was generic, it didn't match their brand, and the listings lived inside someone else's widget rather than on a board that was properly theirs. It also did little to get those roles in front of candidates beyond the people who already happened to find the site.

Post once, appear everywhere

To get their jobs in front of more candidates, they had started using LogicMelon, a tool that sends a vacancy out to the big boards like Indeed and LinkedIn in one go. The piece that was missing was their own website, so we built their new site with a proper job board of its own and wired it straight into LogicMelon using an API webhook.

Now when the team adds a job in LogicMelon, they tick their website alongside the other boards, and it appears on their own site automatically, no separate widget and nothing to re-enter. One job, entered once, live everywhere at the same time.

What we built

  • Designed and built a sharp, custom site that looks the part for a professional recruitment brand.
  • Built a proper job board into the site, replacing the generic free widget the Wix site relied on.
  • Connected the site to LogicMelon with an API webhook, so it became a posting destination like any board.
  • Set it up so one job added in LogicMelon goes live on the website, Indeed, LinkedIn and the other boards at once.
  • Made the website a single tick when posting, so jobs land on their own board with nothing to re-enter.

The result

Scinergy now have a site that looks as professional as the work they do, and a job board that fills itself the moment a vacancy is added in LogicMelon. Their own website sits right alongside the big boards in a single step, so every role shows up where candidates are looking and on their own site at the same time.

And it grows with them. Whether they are adding one job or ten, it is the same single step, with no separate widget to manage and nothing to re-enter as they take on more work. You can see the site at scinergyrecruitment.co.uk.
